suspicious, are asked to contact the Arkansas State Police or the Conway
County Sheriff's Department.
Ms. Laurite was described
as a white female, 5' 2" tall, weighing less than 100 pounds, and
brown hair that was fashioned in dreadlocks. While she may have worn
another style of garment earlier in the day, she was last seen in a
lavender and white sundress.

Kristen
Laurite was traveling with her two dogs at the time of her
murder in Conway County.
|
|
The
crime scene was near a pond in the vicinity of the rest stop.
Laurite's dogs, a Border Collie and a tan mixed breed, both
traveling companions with Laurite, caught the attention of other
travelers at the rest stop as they roamed free through the area.
A search for the owner of the dogs ended with the discovery of
Laurite's body. It's believed Laurite was passing through
Arkansas from Scotch Plains, New Jersey destined for Eureka,
California. Laurite was driving a 1971 Volkswagen bus
with a pop-up top and displaying New Jersey license plates. |
